Dental Travel To Turkey started in 2016 as a blog for British patients thinking about having their teeth done abroad. Most of the questions we were asked then are the questions people still ask now: is it safe, who will treat me, what does it really cost, and what happens if something goes wrong when I am back home. In 2026 we rebuilt the site around those questions, with a published methodology, a scored clinic review and plain-English guides by treatment and city.
What we publish
- A 2026 ranking of the best dental clinics in Turkey for UK patients, with one scored clinic and verified listings of others.
- Best-of guides by treatment (implants, veneers, All-on-4, Hollywood smile) and by city.
- A costs guide in pounds, updated against the clinic’s published prices.
- A journal of practical articles going back to 2016, refreshed for 2026.
Who is behind it
The site is operated in partnership with Smile Dental Turkey, an AACI-accredited clinic in Antalya that has treated UK patients since 2009. Clinical statements are reviewed by Uğur Gültekinler, D.D.S., one of the clinic’s co-founders. We think the honest way to run a site like this is to say who pays for it, rank on criteria you can check yourself, and never score a clinic we have not inspected.
